Job summary

New Resource Group in Westbury invites applications for Counterbalance Forklift Operatives to support a busy peak period through to the end of December. The role involves despatch duties, safe forklift operation, and ensuring goods are packed and paperwork prepared.

Full training is provided, with shifts Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 (November) and Monday to Saturday varied hours in December; pay is £14.19 per hour, rising to £17.95 per hour for the 37.75-hour peak period.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift license essential (RTITB and/or ITSSAR).
• Experience in a Warehouse/Logistics/Production environment.
• Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out despatch duties in a safe, consistent and reliable manner.
• Ensure finished goods are packed, ready for despatch and paperwork is completed.
• Load vehicles safely and according to instructions.
• Maintain forklift in good working order and complete daily safety checks.
• Operate the pallet wrapping machine.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain housekeeping.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established and internationally known client based in Westbury on a short-term peak period basis up until the end of December.

We are recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Operatives to join their team for their busy peak period.

We are seeking to appoint Operators who have worked within a Warehouse/Logistics/Production environment previously.

Full training will be provided.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Forklift Driver looking to secure some short term and guaranteed work NOW with attractive pay incentives.

ROLE OBJECTIVES:

Carry out despatch duties in a safe, consistent and reliable manner

Ensure finished goods are packed, ready for despatch and all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and available as required

Load vehicles safely and according to instructions

Maintain forklift is good working order and ensure daily safety checks are completed

Operate the pallet wrapping machine

Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices and maintain good housekeeping.

Counterbalance Forklift Truck License is essential (RTITB and/or ITSSAR accredited certificate)

Monday - Friday = 0800-1600 (Until end of November)

Monday - Saturday = 0700-1700 or 0800-1800 or 0900-1900 (Throughout December)

Pay = £14.19 per hour (£17.95 per hour for all hours 37.75 onwards during peak period)
