Accent Catering Services Ltd is hiring a Catering Assistant for a school site in Abingdon, OX14. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 2:30pm, focusing on food preparation and customer service.

• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters

What you will be doing:-

• food preparation
• serving, cleaning and washing up
• assisting with inventory management
• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
