Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Limited is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians to cover the local area and learn to identify water leaks on underground networks. The role is days, 40 hours per week, with a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Full training will be given, including EUSR Water Hygiene; a driving licence is essential as the role involves driving a company van to sites. Applicants should be prepared for compulsory testing.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence required.
• Willingness to undergo full training in water leak detection.
• Manual outdoor work background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey/work beyond day-to-day leak detection.
• Complete paperwork accurately (timesheets, survey forms, leak details, and other duties).
• Possess basic computer skills to upload data onto a laptop.
• Hold a full and valid driving licence as driving is required for the role.

My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering your local area.

The successful candidate will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks.

This role is working days - 40 hours per week.

This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Trainee Field Technician responsibilities:

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.

Full training will be given on the following:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training

This Trainee Field Technician role would suit candidates with the following:

• Drivers / Driving (Multi Drop, Meter Readers, Delivery Drivers)
• People with a manual working/outdoor background
