Job summary

Groupe Touchette Inc. in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to move tires through the warehouse and load/unload delivery vehicles, with lifting up to 70 lbs.

Working Monday to Friday, evening shift: 2pm - 22:30pm, you will operate reach trucks, enter items into the warehouse management system, and ensure accurate inventory control.

This role requires experience with stand-up lifting equipment, RF scanning, and a forklift competency card; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating stand-up lifting equipment and able to operate a reach truck competently.
• Warehouse forklift operator competency card (Reach truck and Order Picker).
• Autonomous and can work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with an RF Scanner.
• Customer-oriented and detail focused.
• Respectful, reliable and committed to health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Description

The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for moving the tires through the warehouse, either manually or with the help of lifting equipment and for loading/unloading the delivery vehicles. (tires weighting up to 70 lbs)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Evening shift: 2pm - 22:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reception of tires;
• Load and unload delivery trucks;
• Move products to locations in the warehouse using lifting equipment;
• Enter the products in the inventory using a radiofrequency gun;
• Inspect and report any anomalies on lifting appliances;
• Prepare delivery vehicles based on work orders;
• Carry out the entry of items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• Enter the items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• All other related tasks.

Success Factors:

• Experience operating stand-up lifting equipment and able to operate a reach truck in a competent manner;
• Warehouse forklift operator competency card (Reach truck and Order Picker);
• Autonomous and can work with minimal supervision;
• Comfortable lifting charges up to 100 lbs;
