Reach Truck Operator / Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Morning Shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Hourly Wage: $21/hour + 4% vacation pay

Work Location: Acheson

Please note: This location is not transit accessible. Reliable transportation is required.

We’re hiring for a full-time position in Acheson starting January 2024. We seek a skilled equipment operator with experience using various warehouse machinery. Strong material handling skills, professionalism, and a focus on safety are essential.

This role primarily involves equipment operation but also includes leading the warehouse team and overseeing functions such as order picking, shipping, receiving, and coordinating with vendors and warehouse partners.

Advantages:

• Temporary to Permanent Position (2-3 months on temp, then rolled over based on performance)
• Full-time morning shift warehouse position with hourly wages of $23-24

Responsibilities:

• Manage bills of lading, contact shipping companies, update vendor information
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Order picking and general warehouse duties, including operating sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment
• Snow removal as needed and coordinating maintenance services
• Overtime may be required before shifts for snow removal, sidewalk shovelling, and parking lot skid steer operation

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of warehouse experience
• At least 2 years of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift
• Experience operating skid steer loaders is an asset
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
• This location is not transit accessible; own transportation is required
