Reach Forklift Operator

Attention Forklift Drivers!
Our client in Scarborough is looking for their next team member who has solid experience in Reach and is seeking a career opportunity.

Are you Narrow Reach truck certified? - Toyota Reach is the one being used here.

You will assist the shipping and receiving department at a reputable company in Pickering! This opportunity is great; you will be able to work locally in the Scarborough region, straight day shifts only, and you will be working with a great team!

1. Desirable shifts on days. Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
2. Rate of pay is $22 per hour
3. Full-time work with an opportunity to be hired permanently

Responsibilities
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

1. Operating a Toyota Reach Forklift
2. Loading and unloading products
3. Storing, moving, and handling materials
4. Assisting with the Shipping and Receiving of goods, allocating to appropriate departments
5. Working in a team environment as well as independently
6. Material handling initially, arranging product accordingly
7. Inventory control and coordination of shipping
8. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
9. Unpacking incoming material to verify the appropriate quality of products

Qualifications

1. Valid Reach Truck license
2. Proficient with the use of computers including email, internet applications and basic data entry; experience with inventory management software would be an asset
3. Mechanically and service oriented
4. Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and follow-up skills
5. Excellent communication skills both oral and written
6. Minimum 1 year of experience operating a reach forklift
7. Able to be comfortable lifting 50lbs
8. Someone who is extremely reliable and willing to work hard
