Job description

The Raw Procurement Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting all aspects of the raw procurement (potato) and delivery processes for Cavendish Farms facility. Ensure processes support consistent supply of the highest quality raw materials to satisfy customer requirements in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner.

This position reports to the Raw Procurement Manager and requires interaction with Alberta potato growers, production staff, four direct reports, Potato Growers of Alberta, both provincial and federal agriculture services, growers and grower organizations outside the province of Alberta, private agronomists, agriculture chemical sales staff, as well as international and domestic sales personnel.
