Job summary

FGF Brands is seeking a skilled Materials Planner/Procurement professional to manage a defined portfolio of raw materials across all production facilities. You will run MRP, oversee replenishment, and collaborate with suppliers, PLM, central warehouse, and manufacturing teams to meet production demands and optimize inventory turns.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in materials planning or procurement, post-secondary education in business or supply chain, advanced Excel and data analysis skills,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Materials Planning/Procurement in Supply Chain.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work in high-volume environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Run MRP for a defined portfolio of Raw Materials.
• Manage replenishment of Raw materials per portfolio.
• Analyze material usage and optimize replenishment methods.
• Collaborate with PLM to monitor launches, delistings, and changes to meet production requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve material flows and inventory levels.
• Support implementation of new systems related to supply chain planning and execution.
• Follow up on deliveries and cover after-hours rotation.
• Coordinate STO planning and execution across facilities to balance stock and costs.

Summary

Reporting to the Raw Material Planning Lead, you will be responsible for the planning of certain categories of raw materials (Ingredients/Packaging) as assigned to meet production demands across all production facilities. You will develop, maintain, analyze, and coordinate all inventory replenishment and purchasing of raw materials by working closely with the suppliers, procurement, PLM, central warehouse, third-party warehouse, manufacturing and other departments. You will have ownership of inventory turns and service level for raw materials across all facilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Run MRP for a pre-defined portfolio of Raw Materials.
• Manage replenishment of Raw materials as per the assigned portfolio.
• Routinely analyze materials usage and recommend best replenishment method following current inventory strategy.
• Work closely with PLM to monitor production launches, delisting items, and engineering changes to meet production requirements and minimize material obsolescence or aging inventory.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities resulting in improving material flows and inventory levels.
• Participate in implementing any new systems related to supply chain planning and execution.
• Follow up on expected deliveries for the day and be part of a rotation schedule with the other team members in the group to cover after hours and weekends.
• Manage Stock Transfer Order (STO) planning and execution across all facilities, ensuring optimal inventory deployment, balanced stock levels, and uninterrupted production support while minimizing transportation and inventory holding costs.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of Materials Planning/Procurement experience, or a relevant field in Supply Chain.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Advanced in Excel and has an acumen for data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
• Work experience with an ERP, preferably SAP or similar.
