Job summary

SGS in Mississauga is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to execute testing per SOPs, ISO and cGMP guidelines, working with a team of analysts to ensure quality results.

You will ensure documentation is complete and that results are entered into the Laboratory Information System or the Client’s COA. Prioritize daily work to meet schedules, and assist in investigations of any test failures. A B.Sc. in a science field and 2+ years of wet chemistry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in science-related field required.
• 2+ years with demonstrated ability to perform moderate to complex duties.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
• Experience in wet chemistry (titration, TOC, Conductivity, pH, UV, IR).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and perform testing per SOPs, ISO and cGMP guidelines.
• Collaborate with Analysts and communicate with peers and superiors.
• Ensure documentation and enter results into Laboratory Information System and COA.
• Prioritize and plan daily work to meet schedules.
• Report testing failures to management and assist in investigations.
• Inform in advance if work cannot be completed on time.
• Perform additional lab duties and update status.
• Record findings and prepare reports.
