Noze is a Montreal-based company redefining olfactory tech by digitizing the sense of smell. As a Hardware & Prototyping Technician, you will build, test, and refine hardware prototypes and test rigs in a fast-paced product development environment.

You will solder, assemble, and troubleshoot prototyped hardware, support engineers across projects, and help maintain lab safety and documentation. This role is funded by a grant program requiring new graduates who are Canadian citizens, permanent

Competenze

• DEC or equivalent in electronics/engineering tech.
• 1–3 years in hardware prototyping lab.
• Hands-on soldering (SMD & through-hole) and rework.
• Experience with rapid prototyping equipment and test instruments.

Mansioni

• Maintain and calibrate internal test rigs and rapid prototyping equipment.
• Perform fine-pitch soldering, rework, wire harnessing, and mechanical prototyping.
• Assist engineering teams in building and iterating hardware prototypes and test platforms.
• Conduct basic functional verification and testing using standard instruments.
• Maintain lab safety, inventories, stock levels, and SOPs.
• Document assembly steps, test rig setups, and logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline prototyping workflows.
