Fleet : de Havilland Canada Dash-7, de Havilland Canada Twin Otter, Beech King Air 250, de Havilland Canada Turbo Otter, Cessna Caravan.

Overview

Reports to the Ground Operations Manager.

The Ramp Agent will be responsible for :

  • Assisting the movement of aircraft on the ramp or dock;
  • Assisting in preparing aircraft for flight;
  • Loading and unloading freight;
  • General upkeep of ground facilities and aircraft;
  • Performing any other duties as required.

Requirements :

  • Grade 9 education or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in a ramp/hangar setting is considered an asset;
  • Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Ability to work shift work;
  • Successful completion of an aviation-related education is considered an asset.
