About the Opportunity

Yorktown Search Partners is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our client, a distinguished boutique professional services firm specializing in accounting and advisory services. Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Rainmaker Accountant to join their Transaction Advisory Services team. This role combines business development with the execution of transaction-related services, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business and delivering high-quality advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  1. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the firm's transaction advisory services.
  3. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Transaction Advisory Services:

  1. Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements, including due diligence and financial analysis.
  2. Provide clients with strategic advice on transaction structures, valuations, and negotiations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  2. Maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for additional services.

Qualifications

  1. CPA designation or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on transaction advisory services.
  3. Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build client relationships.
