Job summary

Adecco is currently hiring an Assistant Track Supervisor to support railway maintenance operations in Edson, Alberta. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising track maintenance crews, coordinating repairs, and ensuring infrastructure is maintained safely and efficiently.

You will work closely with the Track Supervisor to oversee rails, ties, switches, ballast, and right-of-way infrastructure, while promoting a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in supervising crews or foreperson roles.
• Experience in railway maintenance, construction, or infrastructure operations.
• Strong safety mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support track maintenance crews and daily field operations.
• Inspect railway tracks and infrastructure to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate track repairs and maintenance activities.
• Oversee the replacement and repair of rails, ties, switches, and ballast.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits.
• Investigate track issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and operational reports.
• Respond to emergencies and service disruptions as required.
