Job summary

A reputable engineering firm is looking for an experienced engineer for a hybrid role in Toronto. This position requires a minimum of 5 years in industrial or mass transit engineering. Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive conformance reviews of station and guideway design packages, including reports, drawings, and models, against Project Agreement requirements and interface documents.
• Distribute review responsibilities among project team members as required.
• Coordinate with Contracting Authority to develop and maintain review schedule.
• Prioritize and monitor review progress.
• Manage review distribution lists and sessions in Bluebeam.
• Brief Project Engineering and Interface Management teams on findings.
• Prepare and submit Review Comments Sheets.
• Maintain review progress reports.

Required Skills / Knowledge :

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial engineering, mass transit engineering, subway station design, or MEP engineering.
• Experience with basic Project Management.
• Solid understanding of clash detection principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera), requirements management, and configuration tools.
• Experience managing small to medium projects and teams.
• Leadership and effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Design) or equivalent technical experience.

Desired Skills / Knowledge :

• Experience in mass transit construction or design preferred.
• Knowledge of systems design methods and principles.
