Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. seeks an engineering support professional to assist in testing railway systems and rail vehicles. You will back engineering analyses and project management, using MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD, and communicate with team members and clients in writing and verbally.

The role requires self-management, deadline awareness, and the ability to prepare clear reports on assigned tasks. Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts across various sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or system engineering.
• Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, resourceful and collaborative in task execution and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for testing of railway systems and rail vehicles.
• Support engineering analysis and project management with MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Support communication with team members, clients and external stakeholders verbally and in writing.
• Manage own work schedule, deadlines and task responsibilities.
• Prepare reports on work tasks.
