Job summary

Cando Rail & Terminals is seeking Track Maintainers to perform track inspection, maintenance, and clearing services for the short line and various customer sites in Esterhazy, SK. The role involves replacing/repairing track components, aligning and surfacing tracks, and responding to emergencies and outages.

You will conduct inspections, maintain switches and crossings, and ensure paperwork and reports are completed accurately, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with track inspection, maintenance, and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular track inspections and perform repairs and general maintenance.
• Ensure switches, crossings, and flangeways are cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and small machines to keep equipment in good working order.
• Document work reports and maintain logs (logs, maintenance, inspections, audits, fuel sheets).
• Handle purchasing paperwork for supplies, equipment, and fuel related to maintenance.
