About the role

***This role involves significant fieldwork, with up to 80% of the time spent travelling to various hospitals across the UK, primarily in the South West, and potentially to locations in Europe. Ideally, we are looking for candidates based in Hampshire, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Dorset, West Sussex, or Berkshire***

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Application Specialist to provide sales support, customer support, clinical training and testing on all of Vision RT product range in a wider Radio-Oncology environment:

Sales support:

Assisting the EMEA Sales Managers by presenting the product to prospective customers and supporting other radiotherapy providers like Elekta, Varian, Siemens, Philips, GE, Canon and our distributors in general at a product specialist level.

Customer Support:

Providing onsite, telephone and remote support for our customers on Vision RT’s range of products.

Clinical training:

Perform training sessions in the designated training centre and potentially to other key customers if possible (when the training centres are established) and clinical onsite support as well as telephone support. (Phase 1, 2, 3 & 4)

Clinical testing:

Assisting with testing new releases in a clinical environment in as many clinical scenarios as possible.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Work closely with existing customers to provide expert support and assistance in clinical utilisation of Vision RT’s products.
  • Close liaison with key customer sites to develop clinical protocols and to support the clinical adoption and development of new applications.
  • Liaise with Research & Development to provide product feedback and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Attend exhibitions and provide product demonstrations.
  • Assist sales with product demonstrations at customer sites.
  • Provide clinical applications training to customers either in-house, onsite, or remotely.
  • Coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training classes. May also conduct group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows.
  • Assist in creating support training information in the form of workflows, user guides, e-learning courses.
  • Provide phone support to customers and colleagues on the clinical operation of the Vision RT systems.
  • Assist in Generating Customer Information bulletins (CIB), and in the tracking and delivery of those bulletins.
  • Provide testing and feedback analysis to development staff on the new functionality of software.
  • Support distributors and other commercial partners in EMEA on special occasions.
  • Provide backup support in other regions as and when required.
  • International travel will be necessary for the needs of the business.
Essential skills & experience:
  • Working in Radiotherapy.
  • AlignRT experience.
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients and other stakeholders at all levels of their organization.
  • Results orientated with a “can do” attitude, highly motivated and strong work ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with both internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Excellent customer facing and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications/ Windows.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team.
  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level, or equivalent qualification in Radiotherapy (e.g., Dipl.-Phys., Dipl.-Ing., MTRA, or Radio oncologists).
