Job summary

Oak Valley Health in Markham, Ontario is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. You will perform CT exams and general radiology procedures across the Main department, ED, OR, and related clinics, with a focus on patient-centred care.

Requirements include CMRITO registration with Radiology designation, 1–3 years of radiology experience, BLS, and recent CT experience. CTIC is preferred and ongoing CT certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current CMRITO registration and radiology designation.
• A minimum of 1–3 years of radiology experience.
• BLS certified.
• Recent CT experience (all exams) required.
• Enrollment in or evidence of CTIC preferred; or must begin working towards CT certification within the next year if have less than 5 years of CT experience.
• Proficient in IV access and administration of contrast media, or recent certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.
• Demonstrate commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of CT exams and radiology exams in the Main department, ED, OR, Fracture Clinic and Portables.
• Work across multiple sites as needed to meet operational demands.
