Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine radiographic procedures, assist radiologists with fluoroscopy, and support CT head exams in the Diagnostic Imaging department.

The ideal candidate will be registered with CAMRT, hold an education in Medical Imaging Technology, and have experience with PACS/RIS; CPR training as per policy. This term position emphasizes patient care and safety with in-person work.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized school of Medical Imaging Technology.
• Ongoing participation in relevant courses required.
• Currently registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.).
• CPR training per employer policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiological procedures including portables.
• Assist radiologist with fluoroscopy procedures (OR and DI department).
• Assist physicians and surgeons using fluoroscopy in the DI department (facets, hysterosalpingograms, hip injections, etc.).
• Perform unfused CT head exams.
• Demonstrate safe body mechanics and patient handling; ensure patient comfort and safety.
