Position : Radiologist

Location : Alberta, Canada

Job Type : Full-time

Duties :

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Provide precise interpretations of imaging results for accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct physical examinations when necessary to evaluate patient conditions.
  • Maintain detailed, compliant records of patient interactions and diagnostic findings.
  • Participate in urgent care scenarios, delivering timely evaluations and interventions.
  • Support public health initiatives related to radiological practices and patient education.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and methodologies, including electronic health record systems such as Epic.
  • Offer consultations in specialized fields, including addiction medicine, pediatric cardiology, pain management, and other areas of expertise.

Qualifications :

  • Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology is preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and advanced imaging techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical coding practices for radiological services.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail in interpreting imaging results.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for team-based care.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations in urgent care settings.
  • Commitment to professional development and adherence to Canadian healthcare standards.
