A healthcare authority in Canada is seeking a Radiological Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographs and perform diagnostic procedures. The role involves working independently and collaborating with medical professionals, ensuring patient and staff safety through proper application of radiation principles. Relevant certification and graduation from an accredited program are required.

The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician; applies radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public; and completes required documentation and administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceCanadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Graduation from an approved radiology technology program. Eligible for membership in the CAMRT.
