A regional healthcare authority in Nanaimo is seeking a Radiological Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographs and assist in diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety. Applicants must be certified as a Medical Radiation Technologist and possess skills in organization, communication, and teamwork. This is an opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team in a healthcare setting.

The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician; applies radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public; and completes required documentation and administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceCanadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Graduation from an approved radiology technology program. Eligible for membership in the CAMRT.
