The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to examine and treat GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role involves performing technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, analyzing patient x-rays, and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our centers. The Radiologic Technologist supports team members and patients through tasks related to patient care, organization, and communication.
Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the clinical provider, perform x-ray services for patients of all ages, ensuring proper positioning and protection.
Secure paperwork, verify insurance and patient eligibility, process co-pays, and schedule appointments.
Prepare patients for examinations, conduct interviews, record medical history, verify visit purpose, and perform vital signs checks.
Maintain supplies and cleanliness of exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas.
Maintain medical records, answer phones, handle correspondence, and perform daily opening/closing duties.
