Job summary

ALS is seeking a Radiochemistry Analyst in Canada to lead method development and validation of radiochemical analyses in a new lab. You will ensure regulatory compliance, quality, and timely delivery for clients, while coordinating with management and internal teams.

You will oversee instrument calibration, data integrity, and safety programs, with responsibility for alpha/beta spectroscopy, LSC, and ICP-MS, along with SOPs and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Chemistry; MSc Radiochemistry preferred.
• 3–4 years with MSc or 5–6 years with BSc hands-on radiochemical lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNSC, IAEA, ISO 17025, GMP/GLP.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate radiochemical protocols.
• Oversee QA, regulatory compliance and documentation.
• Lead method validation and SOP creation.
• Support internal and external audits and client projects.
• Maintain rigorous data integrity and safety practices.
