Job summary

Tridon Communications in Alberta is seeking a Radio Communications Technician to join our field team in Hinton. You’ll install, service, and maintain advanced communication systems that keep industries connected across the province.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Canadian Driver’s License with a clean record (past 5 years).
• Able to provide a criminal record check.
• Able to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing as required for site access.
• 2-year Electronics Engineering Technology diploma or related education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install and service communication and electronic equipment on vehicles and in field environments.
• Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and programming of radio equipment.
• Perform radio diagnostics and programming.
• Provide customer service and troubleshooting support in person and over the phone.
• Work with conventional, trunking, and P25 radio systems.
• Use electrical schematics, hand tools, and test equipment safely and effectively.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Do
