Pattison Media Ltd . has an exciting opportunity to join our teams in Vancouver and Chilliwack as a Promotions Coordinator for JR Country, THE PEAK and JR Country.

This position can be based at either our Vancouver or Chilliwack office. The candidate must be available Monday to Friday, mostly daytime hours in and out of the office with the flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required by events.

We are looking for someone who can represent all three of our brands in an energetic, responsible, and professional manner. Reporting to the Promotions Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing promotions for all three radio stations.

What you’ll do :

  • Work with Programming to create and deliver a variety of on-air, online, and street level promotions.
  • Help create revenue opportunities by collaborating with the sales team.
  • Write and present promotion proposals for clients and partners.
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations and charities.
  • Execute on-air and online contests, liaise with contest winners and manage prizing inventory.
  • Copywriting for on-air features and websites.
  • Creating content for social media and updating station websites.
  • Planning all on site activations to ensure effective branding of stations on location.
  • Attend station and client events as required including set up & tear down of equipment and technical broadcast gear.
  • Managing and Scheduling our Street Team of approximately 10 casual staff as well as assisting with hiring and training of new Street Team members.
  • Station vehicle maintenance including regular servicing and cleaning.
  • Ordering, organizing and maintaining station gear including tents, signage, clothing, and swag.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and brainstorms.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Promotions Director.

What we’re looking for :

  • Experience in Marketing, Events and / or Broadcasting and Media in a professional setting.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs.
  • Strong Social Media skills.
  • Basic photoshop knowledge.
  • Previous experience in web content management systems is an asset.
  • Desire to learn technical aspects of broadcast setups.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean driving abstract.
  • Ability to work prolonged hours on your feet and lift 50lbs.
  • Legally qualified to work in Canada.
  • Additional Information :

    This position is a fixed term Maternity Fill from August 2025 until October 2026. Your hours will mainly be office hours between 8 : 30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday at your base office location in either Vancouver or Chilliwack. You will be expected to attend some meetings, events and do regular check ins at the other location. This job also requires occasional weekend and evening work as needed for events. Evening and weekend work hours will be in lieu of regular weekday hours. You will receive 15 days paid vacation and will be entitled to company medical and dental benefits. You will also be provided a company cell phone with attached plan.
