Your role
We are looking for a Producer for the morning radio show Toujours le matin , airing on ICI Première in Trois-Rivières.
In this role, we are seeking someone with confident, positive, and collaborative leadership skills, who builds and maintains strong interpersonal relationships.
The selected candidate will have excellent editorial judgment, strong creativity and autonomy, as well as a solid knowledge of and interest in regional issues specific to the Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec regions.
The successful applicant must be able to identify show elements that will foster public conversation. He or she must recognize, understand, and know how to leverage the potential of digital platforms to showcase their show.
You will ensure that all work complies with Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices. At the same time, you'll have the latitude to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, and creativity. As a motivating force, you’ll regularly be called upon to guide and coordinate the work of other team members.
You bring fresh ideas to create the high-quality programming Canadians expect from us. You think outside the box and are always on the lookout for new ways to create content that is distinctive, smart, and innovative.
You will report to the Regional News Director for Radio-Canada in Mauricie–Centre-du-Québec.
