We are currently recruiting for the following position, which is located at our client site, Diavik Diamond Mine.

Radio Operator (TCL – Diavik)

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate communication systems to relay information between air, road, and site operations.
  2. Monitor and coordinate air and ground traffic in alignment with site procedures.
  3. Maintain accurate communication logs and incident reports.

Qualifications:

  1. Observer Communicator Certificate (mandatory)
  2. Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  3. Strong communication and situational awareness skills.
  4. Experience using Microsoft Office programs and other possible computer programs.

The position requires a person with proven ability to work in a cross-cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. The ability to speak the Tłı̨chǫ Language is considered an asset.

This position will require security and medical clearances for the remote camp site.

This is a casual position and would be as and when needed for coverage.
