Radio Brand Ambassador/Representative

Who we're looking for:
Rogers Sports and Media is looking for a Radio Brand Ambassador/Representative to assist in executing on-site event activations in Winnipeg for our radio brands - 92.1 CITI and KiSS 102.3.

Reporting to the Branded Content & Integrations Lead and Activation Specialist, this individual will be highly organized, have tremendous people and communications skills. In this role, you will act as a promotional representative for the radio stations on-site at events as directed by the Branded Content & Integrations Team (Promotions) and Content.

What you'll do:

• Act as the station Brand Ambassador at on-location events and broadcasts as directed by the BC&I and Content teams.
• Support BC&I team and Content Directors as needed with event and remote setup and maintenance, fulfillment, and key on-site activations that enhance our brands.
• This includes setting up tents, signage, tables, chairs, handing out promotional products, running on-site contests, engaging with event participants, and executing social media posts.
• Event, show, and remote setup and activation may include setup and maintenance of live or remote broadcasts (training provided).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A growing understanding of media consumption trends, behaviors, and branded storytelling
• Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire and passion to succeed
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing/able to do physically demanding work as required (lifting, setting up signage, dragging, carrying boxes, etc.)
• Understanding of all social media platforms and best use
• Real-world content and contest creation experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be willing to work flexible hours. The majority of hours for this role will be evenings and weekends.
• Must hold a valid CLASS 5 driver's license and provide driver's abstract (vehicle will be provided for events most of the time)
• Previous ambassador, radio, or event marketing experience is an asset

Additional information:
