Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Canada seeks a Certified Radiation Therapist or Certified Medical Dosimetrist to deliver consultative radiation therapy services on medium- to long-term engagements, traveling up to 75% across local sites to maximize product adoption and outcomes.

The role focuses on clinical operations, workflow analysis, and collaboration with the Varian Nova Scotia project teams to map current to future states and drive value for customers.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiation Therapist or Certified Medical Dosimetrist.
• BSN/BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years combined experience with Oncology setting and Healthcare Technology vendor(s).
• Living in Nova Scotia preferred.
• Travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in clinical operation with emphasis on patient outcomes and customer value.
• Evaluate business processes, recommend changes, document processes, identify training needs and solution deployment.
• Assist in the creation and development of consultative services.
• Develop metrics to demonstrate clinical, operational and financial value.
• Support product training and implementation including on-site and remote sessions.
• Serve as clinical resource on the SHS Varian Nova Scotia project with content curation and configuration.
• Map current state to future state and perform gap analysis.
• Drive requirements gathering with on-site and remote interviews.
• Translate workflow requirements to actionable technical configuration tasks.
• Develop user adoption strategies and best practices.
• Provide onsite support during Go-Live and post Go-Live periods.

Certified Radiation Therapist or Certified Medical Dosimetrist delivers consulting project activities, as a subject matter expert in radiation therapy, through medium- to long-term engagements to ensure maximum utilization of company products and training by customers to meet their business needs, traveling up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Assisting our customers in clinical operation with emphasis in focused patient outcomes, patient care efficiencies, cost containment/reduction as well as customer value propositions.
• Technical responsibilities may include evaluation of business processes, recommending process changes, process documentation, problem identification, hardware/software specification and/or design, change management, testing recommended strategies, identifying training needs and solution deployment.
• Assisting in the creation and development of our consultative services
• Development of relevant metrics that demonstrate achievement of clinical, operational, and financial values
• Actively support product training and implementation through defined implementation processes, access to eLearning, onsite and remote training, and consistent follow-up to ensure adoption and optimal utilization of our solutions/products.
• Work as the clinical resource of the SHS Varian Nova Scotia project implementation team as an expert in content curation, product configuration, testing, and workflow.
• Own workflow current state to future state mapping with associated gap analysis
• Drive detailed requirements gathering sessions through on-site and remote analysis and customer interviews
• Work with the technical implementation team in translating workflow requirements to actionable technical configuration tasks
• Develop and help drive customer-specific user adoption strategies and best practices
• Provide onsite support during system Go-Live and immediate post Go-Live periods

Minimum Required Skills And Knowledge

• Certified Radiation Therapist or Certified Medical Dosimetrist
• BSN/BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical operations driving strategic and business planning, financial and operational performance
• 5+ years combined experience with Oncology setting and Healthcare Technology vendor(s)
• Living in Nova Scotia Preferred
• Travel up to 75%

The Expected Compensation For This Position Is

$82,000 - $117,000

Factors which may affect starting compensation within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
