Call Schedule Description: The call schedule will be established based on an equal rotational basis with other Radiation Oncologists in the department(s). Compensation for on-call coverage is the standard rate of payment prescribed by the Saskatchewan Ministry.
The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency provides leadership in health promotion, early detection, treatment and research for cancer. The Cancer Agency operates two treatment centres: the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.

Job Duties:
The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is seeking an individual to fill a locum position as a full time Clinical Radiation Oncologist at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre in Saskatoon. The qualified candidate will be working as part of care teams, including nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, clinical associates, dietary, speech-language, social work, volunteers and other oncology and affiliated physician colleagues. The department operates Varian equipment and planning software, including three truebeam linear accelerators with MLC, OBI and cone beam imaging. CT simulator was recently replaced with a Siemens somatom confidence unit. There is an active HDR prostate brachytherapy program, and established SRS brain and SBRT lung programs, with intent to expand to other sites in the near future. The oncologists are members of clinical trial groups including Alliance, NCIC, CTG and NRG, and are involved in teaching medical students and residents periodically.

A competitive compensation package is offered and will be commensurate with experience. Salary range for this position is $387,661 to $500,281, plus benefits. Additional incentives and relocation packages available.
