Job Opportunity: R Developer (Remote, Vancouver-based Fintech)

We are seeking an experienced R Developer for a permanent, fully remote position with our client, a fintech company based in Vancouver.

Requirements:

1. 3 - 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Science using R (including purrr, tidyr, dplyr, tibble, and the tidyverse)
2. Strong analytical skills with unstructured data sets
3. Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
4. Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, RabbitMQ
5. Start-up experience is a plus
6. Experience with cloud services, especially AWS, is a plus
