Job summary

Stora Enso Group in Finland is seeking an experienced R&D Specialist to lead and execute projects in the development of mechanical and semi-chemical pulps and their end-use applications.

You will collaborate with mills, suppliers, universities and research institutes within a hybrid work environment and travel as needed. A Master’s degree in pulp and paper technology or chemical engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ R&D experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in pulp and paper technology or chemical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in R&D, preferably with industry exposure.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute R&D projects in semi-chemical and mechanical pulps.
