Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in window, curtain wall, or building envelope manufacturing.
• Experience with product performance testing and industry standards.
• Previous leadership or supervision of small technical teams.
• Experience coordinating laboratory testing or product validation.
• Act as technical resource for internal and external stakeholders.

This role will coordinate laboratory testing activities, support new product development initiatives, and provide technical expertise across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned R&D laboratory activities and testing schedules to support business and project requirements.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, technical direction, and mentorship to R&D Lab team.
• Support management in developing laboratory capabilities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support employee training, development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Act as a technical resource for internal stakeholders and junior team members.
• Monitor and report on laboratory performance metrics and testing activities.
• Support product development initiatives through testing, evaluation, and technical analysis.
• Provide technical support regarding product performance, testing standards, and investigation findings.
• Support root cause investigations related to product, fabrication, quality, and field performance issues.
• Support projects that improve testing capabilities, systems, processes, and technologies.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience within the window, curtain wall, building envelope, or related manufacturing industry.
• Experience with product performance testing and applicable industry standards.
• Prior experience providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, or supervising small technical teams.
• Experience coordinating laboratory testing or product validation activities.
• Experience acting as a technical resource for internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually
