Your Impact Through Innovation
- Contribute to the design and development of single-use medical devices to improve standard of care.
- Actively engage in engineering-related project activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in short- and long-range planning at a project level.
- Independently execute and adapt work plans based on project goals, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
- Demonstrate strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills to support engineering activities of different nature within the organization.
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System, maintaining the highest standards in our engineering processes.
Your Unique Expertise
Required Skills:
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s Engineering degree (or equivalent) with a focus on mechanical or biomedical engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry
- Understanding of product development life cycle
- Understanding of design controls and risk management frameworks
- Ability to independently develop and adapt work plans based on vague or changing project goals.
- Strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and within a diverseteamof engineers, professional staff and production staff.
- Superior communication skills (verbal/written) and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Hands-on experience in experimental design and data analysis
- Dynamic, flexible approach to work with a results-oriented attitude.
Asset Skills:
- Experience with drafting and maintaining DHF and DMR documentation.
- Experience with interventional radiology devices (e.g. wires, sheaths, catheters, etc.)
- Materials selection or characterization skills
- Clinical exposure
