Job Description
The QSR Lead supervises daily operations of Eataly’s quick service counters, including coffee, drinks, pastries, gelato, pizza, focaccia, paninis, and grab-and-go meals. Reports to the QSR General Manager and Assistant General Managers, supervising sales associates and baristas. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a leadership presence, engaging with guests, team members, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and high hospitality standards
  • Training, motivating, and organizing team members
  • Purchasing supplies, beverages, and equipment as directed
  • Monitoring inventory, checking orders, and distributing supplies
  • Managing transactions and ensuring accurate accounting
  • Recording shift notes and assisting with administrative tasks like scheduling
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Handling guest incidents and resolving issues
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Candidates should have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in food service
  • Strong math skills and accuracy with money handling
  • Knowledge of steps of service
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages is a plus

Job Requirements
Candidates must be able to:

  • Work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours
  • Operate equipment such as espresso machines, blenders, juicers, and cash registers
