Job Description
Eataly’s marketplaces feature quick service counters with coffee, drinks, pastries, gelato, pizza, focaccia, paninis, and grab-and-go meals. The QSR Lead supervises daily operations, reports to the QSR General Manager, and oversees sales associates and baristas.

• Maintain a leadership presence on the floor, engaging with guests, team members, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and high hospitality standards
• Train, motivate, mentor, and organize team members
• Purchase supplies, beverages, and equipment as directed
• Monitor inventory, check orders, and distribute supplies
• Manage transactions and ensure accurate accounting
• Record shift notes and assist with administrative tasks like scheduling
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Document, investigate, and resolve guest incidents
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in food service
• Strong math skills and ability to handle money accurately
• Knowledge of steps of service
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
• Operate equipment such as espresso machines, blenders, juicers, and cash registers
• Smart Serve Certification
