Job summary

UpAuto in Ingersoll is seeking a Lube Technician/Quick Service Technician to join the Ingersoll Chevrolet BUICK GMC service team. You will perform routine maintenance like oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and basic inspections under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic automotive knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a clean driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and filter replacements.
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
• Conduct tire rotations and pressure checks.
• Replace air and cabin filters.
• Inspect wiper blades and batteries.
• Perform basic safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate additional vehicle issues to the service advisor.
