Job summary

eBrandon is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to join our Brandon, MB team. You will perform oil and filter changes, inspections, and maintain cleanliness of the work area while delivering reliable service to customers.

You'll report findings to the Service Advisor, replace filters, check fluids, tire pressures, and help ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready. A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Oil & filter changes
• Perform multi-point inspections and present findings to the Service Advisor
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessary
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean
• Notify the Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle
• Keep the shop area neat and clean
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Other tasks as assigned

Your area of focus.

As a Quick Lube Technician, you are responsible for inspecting and reporting finding to the quick lube advisor. The quick lube technician is the first step in the direction to becoming a service technician.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Perform Oil & filter changes
• Perform complementary multi-point inspection on vehicle, check, and mark all required items on the checklist as required. Present the findings to the Service Advisor
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessary
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
