Haldimand Motors in Cayuga, ON is seeking a Windshield Technician to install, repair and replace automotive glass with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing damage, removing/installing glass, following manufacturer specs, and performing quality checks. Strong teamwork, communication, and physical stamina are required for daily operations.

Your area of focus.

As a Windshield Technician you are responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Proficient in diagnosing glass damage, using specialized tools and adhesives, performing precise calibrations when required, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Committed to delivering efficient service, attention to detail, and professional customer interactions.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Diagnosing windshield and automotive glass damage to determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution.
• Removing and installing windshields, rear glass, and other automotive glass components.
• Following manufacturer specifications and safety procedures during all installations and repairs.
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure proper fit, sealing, and functionality.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace.
• Completing service documentation and work orders accurately.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service and explaining completed work to customers.
• Assisting with inventory management and ensuring adequate stock of materials and supplies.
• Collaborating with team members to keep workflow efficient and meet service timelines.

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $20 – $25 Hourly — No bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
