Job summary

Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Quick Lane Technician for our Cam Clark Ford location in Airdrie, AB. You will perform factory-recommended maintenance and inspections on customers' vehicles, lubricate parts, and handle tire care while following safety protocols.

You will work under a Licensed Technician and participate in training programs to grow within your chosen career path while enjoying extended benefits and employee perks across all locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with clean driving record.
• Ability to perform maintenance and light repairs on automobiles.
• Positive, friendly attitude and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform factory recommended maintenance and inspections on customers' vehicles.
• Lubricate moving parts and operate grease/spray guns.
• Check and adjust tire pressures; rotate, repair, or replace tires as needed.
• Follow all company and manufacturer policies and safety regulations.
• Work under the guidance of a Licensed Technician and assist as required.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

In the position of Quick Lane Technician reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing factory recommended maintenance and inspections on our customers' vehicles.

You will be accountable for:

• Lubricate all moving vehicle parts with specified lubricants.
• Operate hand or compressed air powered grease gun and spray gun.
• Inspect fluid levels, drain oil, and replenish as well as replace filters.
• Check and adjust pressure of tires, and rotate, repair, or replace them if needed.
• Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.
• Comply with required healthy and safety regulations
• Work in the shop under the guidance of a Licensed Technician.
• Perform any other duties as requested by your manager or supervisor.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence with Clean Driving Record Required
• Must be able to perform maintenance and light duty repairs on automobiles with a high level of integrity, and open to learn new technology, repair and service procedures.
• Able to work with and assist all types of personalities.
• Must be able to manage in a fast-paced work environment
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
