West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Our Quesnel Plywood division in Quesnel, British Columbia, is recruiting for a Quesnel Plywood - General Labourer.

You'll Do:

  1. Work in various areas including sorting, stacking, and piling lumber.
  2. Handle and lift materials.
  3. Operate production equipment as assigned.
  4. Assist other processing workers.
  5. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sawmill equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting issues promptly.
  6. Perform other general labourer responsibilities.
  7. Complete repetitive tasks.
  8. Adhere strictly to safety standards and safe work practices, such as lockouts and pre-task hazard assessments.
  9. Stand for extended periods.

You have:

  1. The ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  2. Availability to perform day and night shifts as needed.
  3. Good physical condition.
  4. Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  5. Ability to work as a positive team member.
  6. A strong commitment to safety guidelines, PPE use, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  7. Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Compensation Package:

  1. Hourly pay ranges from $34.01 to $35.04, depending on daily tasks.
