Job summary

VTT is seeking a Process Integrator/Process Engineer for its Quantum Enabling team. You will develop and integrate cleanroom processes (sputtering, etching, lithography) for QPICs and superconducting devices, and drive pilot line projects in a cross-disciplinary setting.

You will report to the Research Team Leader and collaborate with scientists and industry partners to advance photonics and quantum technologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, photonics, physics, electronics or closely similar field.
• +5 years industry experience in cleanroom/photonic fabrication.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate cleanroom processes for QPICs and superconducting devices.
• Play a key role in quantum pilot line developments within VTT.
• Drive process engineering for advanced photonics and superconducting device fabrication, including BEOL.
• Actively develop and run cleanroom processes and document progress.
• Collaborate with and supervise cleanroom operators and engineers in process development.
