Xanadu is seeking a Quantum Computing Scientist to join their product team in a hybrid role. The candidate will leverage their expertise in software development to enhance PennyLane, a leading quantum software library. This role involves collaborating with researchers and guiding product strategy to meet the needs of the quantum computing community. Candidates should have a strong technical background in physics, mathematics, or engineering and experience with the quantum software ecosystem.

Your role and responsibilities:
Xanadu is an industry leader in the burgeoning area of quantum software. In this role, you will be working on the product team, contributing to our flagship Python-based quantum software library PennyLane . Drawing on your technical background, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the product vision for one or more specific focus areas within PennyLane (e.g., quantum chemistry, quantum machine learning, high-performance computing, compilation), with a goal to build quantum software that provides value to quantum computing researchers.
