Job Purpose

You will gain exposure to overseeing the entire financial modelling software development cycle. Your focus will be on validating models and assessing their operational performance in banking institutions. If you enjoy computer programming, solving complex problems, and want to learn how banks optimize their risks, this role is suitable for you.

Accountabilities

You will be provided with detailed documentation on the models and will:

  • Review and re-perform the source code in Python
  • Test the models and resolve potential issues
  • Document your test results
What are we looking for?

Enrollment in any of the following Bachelor's programs: Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business, Economics. A desire to deepen your computer programming skills (Python) is essential. Familiarity with Python functionalities like file I/O, plotting, data frames, and vectorization is a plus. No in-depth financial modelling knowledge required.
