Desjardins Capital Markets is looking for a highly qualified quantitative developer to join our Fixed Income Group in Montreal. You’ll play a crucial role in the development, deployment and maintenance of our trading and data analysis applications, and will contribute to solution architecture. You’ll need to have a learning mindset and be willing to make a significant contribution to the Desjardins bond desk. More specifically, you will be required to :
Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable application delivery.
Supervise the version control process by ensuring application updates are quickly and seamlessly rolled out.
Support and enhance the PaaS model to optimize performance and scalability.
Contribute to the quant-led development of software applications.
Solve technical problems related to our trading and data analysis platforms.
Configure and support the quant team’s development environments.
Collaborate with architects, data engineers, quants and traders to understand what is required and deliver high-quality solutions.
Stay in the know on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our systems

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data engineering or a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including two years in the industry
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (DevOps, SonarQube)
Knowledge of French is required
Knowledge of PaaS models and cloud platforms (Azure)
Extensive knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming
Knowledge of operating methods in a dynamic and fast environment
Knowledge of kdb+/q, SQL, Bloomberg, FIX and fixed-income markets
