Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products, providing a wide range of taste and texture components for the food industry worldwide. Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces, and food bases used in various applications from snack foods and processed meats to ready meals. Our customers include food processors, restaurant operators, and grocery retailers. Position Summary:

Perform analysis of finished products to determine their status based on results, ensuring safety and quality.

Note: This position is a 1-year, night shift (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) contract.

  1. Analyze finished product samples to ensure they meet specifications; some raw material analysis may be required.
  2. Troubleshoot analysis, equipment, and production issues in the QS lab and manufacturing areas, maintaining proper documentation and preparing technical reports.
  3. Perform environmental swabs, ATP swabs, pre-OP inspections as required.
  4. Participate in equipment calibration, procurement, electronic records system, and safety programs.
  5. Participate in internal audits (Quality Systems, GMP, Food Safety) as required.
  6. Maintain accurate laboratory records (written and electronic) and provide results in the required format, including report preparation.
  7. Communicate results and provide technical support to other departments as needed.
  8. Conduct online product and process inspections and/or audits.
  9. Acquire and update skills and knowledge through reading and training in new areas.
  10. Update and maintain various aspects of the plant quality system as instructed.
Qualifications:
  1. University degree, preferably in Food Science, with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing – Required.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
