Degree or Diploma with education in Chemistry, Engineering or related field
10 yrs+ of quality assurance experience
5 years of supervisory / management experience
Ability to interact and work with others in a productive and professional manner
Strong written and oral communication skills
Confident and self-directed
Commitment to meeting deadlines, take initiative and solve problems consistently
Knowledge of MS Office applications
Duties / Responsibilities
Responsible for leading and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Document, analyze, improve, and report on product and system non-conformances and customer issues
Lead and manage the QMS ensuring compliance with current standards
Lead and manage internal and external QMS audits
Document, analyze, improve and report on Customer Issues (CIs), Non-conformances (NCRs), and Return of Goods (RGA) processes, identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and leading issue resolution
Lead and manage Product Certification Programs such as FloorScore, Greengard and Cradle2Cradle
Communicate with Department Managers on continuous quality improvement initiatives related to departmental and company objectives
Employ analytical tools, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), to resolve quality issues and deliver corrective and preventive actions
