• Degree or Diploma with education in Chemistry, Engineering or related field
• 10 yrs+ of quality assurance experience
• 5 years of supervisory / management experience
• Ability to interact and work with others in a productive and professional manner
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Confident and self-directed
• Commitment to meeting deadlines, take initiative and solve problems consistently
• Knowledge of MS Office applications

Duties / Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Document, analyze, improve, and report on product and system non-conformances and customer issues
• Lead and manage the QMS ensuring compliance with current standards
• Lead and manage internal and external QMS audits
• Document, analyze, improve and report on Customer Issues (CIs), Non-conformances (NCRs), and Return of Goods (RGA) processes, identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and leading issue resolution
• Lead and manage Product Certification Programs such as FloorScore, Greengard and Cradle2Cradle
• Communicate with Department Managers on continuous quality improvement initiatives related to departmental and company objectives
• Employ analytical tools, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), to resolve quality issues and deliver corrective and preventive actions
