Job description

Our client, a leader in automotive manufacturing, has an opportunity for a Quality Systems Engineer in their Windsor, Ontario Facility. The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for performing internal audits. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a manufacturing or stamping environment and be a certified ISO / TS16949 Internal Auditor. Summary of Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for performing internal audits as per audit schedule (IATF, VDA, CQI-9, CQI-15, CQI-12).
2. Responsible for closing corrective actions with team members.
3. Responsible for being the liaison between the organization and the registrar.
4. Manage the customer-specific requirements and offer technical support.
5. Drive continuous improvements for the Business Management System.
6. Drive improvements in the document control process.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Certified ISO / TS16949 Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3 years internal audit experience.
• Working knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA).

Preferred Qualifications

• IATF Certification and VDA Certification.
