Quality Specialist

Actalent is hiring a SUPPLIER QUALITY SPECIALIST for one of our Aerospace clients located in Longueuil, QC.

Description

The purpose of this role is to work with the Supply Management Quality group to improve the global quality signature & performance for the suppliers of concern by reducing the number of supplier escapes and OEM Interventions through the deployment of various initiatives.

1. Provides strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs in area of expertise;
2. Contributes to the company objective by reaching expected results;
3. Provides cross-functional guidance and expertise to various team members;

Skills & Qualifications

• Good Mechanical experience (Experience with Manufacturing processes and/or Raw Materials)
• Experience working with suppliers/customers in a fast pace environment
• Quality Experience (8D, 5 why, Root Cause Analysis)
• 5+ years of experience
• Previous experience in a complex industry

Work Environment: This role is on-site.

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr.
